Greetings, food lovers.
ENJoy cooking wants you to win a weekly gift basket as well as a grand prize of a KitchenAid Chef
Chopper, at the end of the month. Make sure you read the rules below before filling in the entry form.
GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
HOW TO ENTER: To be eligible to win the gift basket, you must e-mail your entry via the ENJoy
Entry Form on ENJoyCooking.com.
- No purchase necessary to enter.
- Maximum of one entry per household per day.
- Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
- All information on the online entry form must be completed in order for it to be valid.
- Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if illegible, mechanically
reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way.
- Entrants agree to abide by the contest rules and the decisions of the independent judging panel,
which are final.
- By participating, the entrants grant the right to ENJoy Cooking to use their names on targeted
mailing lists or when publishing any news or result relating to this program within the industry in
print, radio, and/or online advertising.
PRIZE: The winning entry will win a gift basket of various products. Approximate value of $70,
including all applicable taxes and service charges. Prize must be accepted as rewarded, and has no cash value.
DRAW: The prize for the gift basket will be awarded in random weekly draws held each Tuesday in
Edmonton, Alberta, starting March 5, 2002.
WINNING: In order to win, the selected entrant must correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited,
skill-testing question posed at time of prize pickup.
- The odds of being selected will depend on the number of eligible entries received.
- Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable or convertible to cash.
- Only the winning participant will be notified within the specified time indicated.
- If a winner cannot be contacted within 24 hours of the draw date, another winner will be chosen.
- Before being declared a winner, the prize winner will also be required to sign:
- A declaration form confirming compliance with the contest rules and the acceptance of the
prize offered;
- A waiver of liability acknowledging the non-responsibility of ENJoy Cooking,
CFRN-Television, Taste of the Town and their agents in respect to injuries, accidents or
loss relating to the prize, and;
- A publicity release acknowledging the right of ENJoy Cooking and the agents to publish
and/or broadcast the winner's picture, name, address, voice and statements without further
compensation.
RESTRICTIONS: The contest is open to all residents of Alberta with the exception of employees and
those with whom they are domiciled of, CFRN-Television, The Edmonton Sun, Taste of the Town, and their
affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, or the independent judging panel.
REGULATIONS: All entries become the property of ENJoy Cooking, which assumes no responsibility for
lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for any failure of the Web site during the
promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone failure, of any e-mail or
problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof including
any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing
or downloading any material in the promotion.
- ENJoy Cooking reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend the e-mail
portion of this contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of
ENJoy Cooking corrupt the security or proper administration of this contest.
- Any attempt to deliberately damage any Web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this
promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made,
ENJoy Cooking reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by
law, including criminal prosecution.
- ENJoy Cooking reserves the right to revise or cancel this promotion at any time. Contest is
subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws. Prizes may not be exactly as
shown or indicated. ENJoy Cooking reserve the right to substitute any prize with an alternate
prize of equal or greater value.
