Around the campfire is a wonderful place to congregate in the evening to discuss the day’s events, plan tomorrow’s events or destination, tell ghost stories, relax and cook dinner! The campfire smoke does something unspeakably wonderful to the flavor of the food and the conversations wafting around with the breeze. Whether you choose something very simple or an elaborate production, friends and family will gather around. It’s a time for bonding so why should the cook be anywhere but with the rest of the crew! With a little preparation at home, those doing the cooking will have time to enjoy cooking in the great outdoors.
